Overview: Responsible for the overall performance of the assigned Business Line, including safety performance, client relations, revenue/profit generation, and overhead spending (P&L for the Business Line). Responsibilities: •Promote, enforce, and establish SAFETY as a priority •Promote and lead by example the CULTURE of Saulsbury •Participate in setting and executing Company objectives in cooperation with the Chief Operating Officer and the Executive Leadership Team •Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the Business Line •Accountable for establishing performance targets for the overall Business Line, including safety performance, revenue/profit generation, and overhead spending •Build relationships and interface with owners, clients, suppliers, strategic partners, and business leaders •Manage Business Line Project Managers/Project Directors as direct reports •Manage and review project proposals, execution plans, and pertinent documents with Project Managers/Project Directors •Effectively utilize project execution resources provided to the Business Line from the company matrix organization, managing the balance between cost, schedule, and quality with primary emphasis on safety for profitable, well-executed projects •Establish performance targets for all projects, including plans for directing, monitoring, & evaluating project performance versus plan •Developing high performing teams ensuring company remains competitive in all aspects •Identify and develop high potential employees within the Business Line •Develop succession plan for all key positions within the Business Line •Participate in various business development initiatives, as needed Qualifications: •Engineering or Construction Degree preferred with 15 + years’ experience managing projects in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, and/or Power Generation •Demonstrated success in a leadership role with direct reports and functional reports from a matrix organization •Prior experience managing multi-layered construction organization in a senior executive role. •Must have direct senior leadership experience with primary responsibility leading industrial construction and engineering services •Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills •Superior organizational skills •Proven ability to work well in a team environment •Provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction •Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
